The tallest skyscraper in Africa, the 223 meters tall Carlton Center in Johannesburg,South Africa, will soon be surpassed by ‘The Pinnacle’. The new venture begins at Nairobi, Kenya, with the foundation stone already laid by President Uhuru Kenyatta. The Pinnacle boasts twin glass facade towers, both 255 meters and 300 meters high.
The taller building will host office spaces, a shopping mall and helipad and the other, a 255 room Hilton Hotel. The project will be constructed by China State Construction Engineering Corporation and the expected completion date is December 2019.
